The Roarin' 20's

We went to Pam and Todd's 20th Anniversary party last night. We dressed in 1920's fashion. We had loads of fun!

Please excuse the quality of the pictures. We were using Don's new camera and we obviously need to adjust the settings.

Job

Thank you for all of the prayers. I was offered and accepted a job today. It is the perfect job. It will generate the extra income I need and still give me the flexibility to take care of the kids. I am so excited and extremely grateful.

Interviews

I don't think my interviews went very well. The first one was a phone interview and it was incredibly formal considering the informal nature of the position. She told me not to get discouraged if I don't hear anything for a few weeks.

The second was for the photography position and was today. It started out really well and then I blundered a technical photography question. I was embarassed. The job listing said experience wasn't a requirement, but it is a question I should have known and I fear it may have hurt my chances.

I'm opening all of my doors and believe what is meant to be, will be.

We're a little sad

Snow Dollar went back home to Rich's last night. We were all a little sad, but Sara was particularly affected. She cried for 3 hours. She found reminders in everything she saw, including my white shirt (because Snow was white). It was rough, but I know she (the dog) is happy with Rich.

The kids and I are going camping at the Sleeping Bear Dunes with some friends. We're looking forward to a great weekend, and I should have some good pictures to post when I get back.

Mom's still up North. I talked to Dad the other day for quite a while and he and Duke are doing really well. Mom was afraid they wouldn't survive each other, but the "wolf" is doing pretty good.

I'm wishing for a nice weekend for you all.
